SYNOPTIC REVIEW OF FORESTRY AND FOREST PRODUCTS TRADE AND PRODUCTION IN AFRICA

Aims to valuate Africa's forestry and forest products, namely Wood Forest Products (WFPs) Non-wood (NWFPs) in the sixteen (16) West African countries.The study identified a systematic assessment of most common products (wood non-wood products) considering available data on national reserves selected countries Africa. The also revealed need for biodiversity conservation help mitigate impact global warming targeting United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal 13- Climate Action. This is focused integrating climate change mitigation, adaptation, reduction, early warning signs into policies, improving planning management education, awareness-raising, institutional capacity within sub-region.
